When you place an order, the memories, names, dates, and details you share are sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI, which generates a personalized poem or letter based on what you’ve told us. This is not a generic, fill-in-the-blank template — it’s a genuinely original piece of writing crafted from the real moments and qualities you described.
What you should know:
Your memories are sent to Anthropic’s API solely for the purpose of generating your poem or letter. Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models. The information is processed and the poem is returned to us — that’s it. We do not share your memories with Anthropic for any other purpose, and Anthropic’s data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policy and API terms of service. We want you to feel completely comfortable sharing your memories with us. The stories you tell us about your loved one are sacred, and they are used for one purpose only: to create something beautiful in their honor.
Photos and Personal Memories
The photos you upload and the memories you share are among the most sensitive information we handle. Here is how we treat them:
Storage: Your uploaded photos are stored securely on our servers for the purpose of fulfilling your order. They are used to create the final printed tribute that is shipped to you.
Access: Only authorized members of our team access your photos and memories, and only as needed to complete your order — for example, to prepare your print file or to coordinate with our printing partner.
Sharing: Your photos and the personal details of your memories are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only third party that receives your photo is our professional printing partner, Luma Prints, who prints and frames your tribute. They receive only what is necessary to produce your order.
No public display: We will never post your photo or your loved one’s story publicly (on our website, social media, or anywhere else) without your explicit, written permission.
Payment Information
All payments on Still Beside Me are processed by Stripe, a leading and trusted payment processor. When you enter your credit or debit card information at checkout, that data goes directly to Stripe’s secure servers.
We never see, handle, or store your full card number. Stripe provides us only with a summary — such as the last four digits of your card and the transaction amount — so we can reference your order. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant, which is the highest standard of security in the payment industry.
